All it takes sometimes is a soul for a kiss...

Deals were a complicated thing that always turned people against one another. Crazy favours on the other hand,when worded like deals, were different. By some miracle they brought people closer, or at least closer than they ever believed possible.

                                              * * *
"Moloch! Are you even listening to me?" Eikko screeched. He winced slightly at his sister's tone.

"Not anymore, I think I've gone deaf," he muttered, rolling his eyes. He could see Archer talking to his mother, apparently he was popular with her friends too. Maybe it was the childlike nature that they admired, or his quick wits, he had many endearing traits.

"I was saying, who's the human?"

"Oh, that's my husband." The group around him went silent.

"WHAT?"

                                              * * *
Moloch has an offer. Archer has an attitude. Friendship is a beautiful thing, however both of them have something the other wants. Let's see how far this favour brings them.

Growing up in chaos isn't simple for all. Not many could cope. They would struggle and kick, but ultimately drown. However, for Dakota, that was his normality. Torturing. Maiming. Killing. That was his life, the life of a hunter. The Arizona line was elusive, written fame in the lore of hunters, and infamy for their prey. They were the best. No one could ever compare to their skills, their abilities, their ruthlessness. But Dakota was something else. His siblings might have learnt to enjoy the hunt, well most of them anyway, but Dakota didn't. There was always something missing for him, something he was waiting on. Silent and everlasting hope. A promise had been made to him, the day his twin brother was stolen, taken by the enemy, plucked right from the very home the Arizonas had grown up in. A promise of something better, something that he might actually want in his life. Now, almost sixteen years later, something was coming. A change was begging to be found. Maybe it would be for the best. Maybe Dakota would finally find that certain something that had been missing his whole life, something to fill the dark and fractured abyss that ached and wailed within. But nothing was ever that simple. Because, of course, the promise that had been made to Dakota would never be anything plausible for him, anything tangible to have and to hold. He had been promised a new life, by the greatest enemy of them all. It wouldn't be easy. Not with his family still clinging to his heels, the teachings of blood and violence burnt into his mind. No, leaving them behind wouldn't ever be easy. Then again, staying with them would only bring his inevitable death. Why not take the chance to die happy? After all, out of the ashes, a phoenix will rise...

"What I was going to say was selfish..." He mumbled. I edge closer to him until my hand slowly cradled his cheek. Tilting his head up to look at me. "Please let me know what it was." I beg him pathetically. He begins to chew his lip and that's when I knew he was nervous. Nervous about what? I'm not exactly sure. "With everything I said...I was going to say at the same time...never...leave me." He confessed painfully almost. That's when I lost all sense of control and pressed my lips onto his. Kissing him with all my strength and all the built up desire that's accumulated. I continued to kiss him until at some point my tongue made it's way into his mouth. Tasting a sweet flavor that I've never encountered. As I got deeper in the kissing I feel myself fly back into a tree. Slammed against it that I felt myself lose my breath. Trying to catch it, I look up at Achille. His eyes were now a crimson red that intrigued me. He shook his head and suddenly he was gone in a blur. Confused, I stood as I had to pop my back from the hard hit into the tree. Looking in the direction Achille ran off, I knew I couldn't see him because it'd be a blur. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific. I would love to know what it felt like for a day. Just one day...

He leaned down very slowly and my eyes fell to his lips before snapping back up. He gently pressed his lips against mine, moving slowly at first before he began to deepen the kiss between us. You have no earthly idea how long I have wanted to kiss you." He whispered. "In this room, I'm your dominant and you will do as I say when I say without hesitation. I want you to only call me Master or Sir starting now. Do you understand?" His voice was rough as he spoke and the deepness of his voice combined with the command pulled at my willingness to obey him. I nodded my understanding without speaking. I felt a sharp slap come down on my ass. It didn't hurt but it shocked me. "When I ask you a question, I want an answer. Do you understand?" "Yes, Sir, I understand." Aaron James had trained and worked to become a head dominant as his father had and would soon have to take over the family business as well of running the finances for most of the town. McKenzi needed to help her family because money wasn't coming in the way they needed. Years after Aaron started training they finally meet again and this time he has the power to actually do something about it. She is everything he has been craving and seeing her standing in front of him is all he needs to remember what he wants to do with her. She's never been intimate with anyone and his world is one she didn't find herself comfortable even thinking about, but it's him, and her family needs help.

My heart pulsated through my chest and I didn't think I could hold on for much longer. The frightening, terrorising feeling of his fingers slipping through mine was causing the arm that was gripping to the edge of the cliff to shake. "Hold on, Harry! I've got you, I swear! Please, just hold on!" my voice held a shrill of terror to it and my eyes were filling with tears; tears of pain, frustration and sheer horror. Harry moved his gaze from our slipping fingers to my eyes. "It's okay, Ethan. Let go. You can't save me; not this time." I hated how calm his tone was. I hated how defeated he sounded. He had never given up - we always held hope for one another! We never gave up. "Don't you say that to me! Don't you fucking say that to me!" I roared, a small sob escaping my lips. Harry just smiled sadly, his muscular, beautiful body swaying in the harsh wind. The fall was so big; he would surely die of a heart attack before he hit the ground. I prayed to God he would. No. I was breaking my own rule; I would not give up on him. Either both of us lived or neither of us would. My life would be over the second his ended, anyway.
