My tearful eyes slowly looked up to meet the familiar blue orbs of the man I was glad to call my love. Eyes where I thought would be filled with disgust and disappointment at my sudden revelation were instead reflecting the same love and pride I never thought I would receive from anyone.

He was the type of man admired by many, and his maturity, pleasant charm and caring attitude made him the lover most women would want to have but Regina seemed to be an exception.
And not because she wasn't attracted to him but because of something that kept holding her back. A secret she had long held within her that could possibly break the strong friendship and relationship she currently had with those around her.
