Summer always thought she was a regular Black girl from a regular middle class Black family. She wasn't from the hood and she didn't have daddy issues. She thought she knew everything about herself and her family until one summer she stays with her aunt and cousin and finds out who she truly is and finally learns what it feels like to be alive.
