In a future tainted by disease, the human touch is despised, for that very touch, the one that you feel from a friend, a lover, or your family, could bring you into contact with a deadly disease, one that has taken over the world.

Lia Martin, a typical 16 year old living in the state of Michigan, cannot fathoms a world with human touch, with love. This is until She encounters a boy, Nathan, and her world of following rules and borders starts to be broken down as she experiences what living, and a free life can make you feel.
