The description is summed up by the title. I basically created an...AU of sorts. Essentially, I pondered what would happen if Persona 5's story, which is already incredible, was longer and had alternate plot details. The most important thing is this is NOT CANON! It's a fan-fic I created focused around one of my all time favourite video games. The primary thing you can expect from this story is the introduction of new Phantom thieves, palaces and more. My Key Item (Joker X Futaba) Persona 5 Royal by Rydernort

After months of getting to know and love Futaba Sakura, knowing that she is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with, it's all ripped away by one man. Takuto Maruki has decided that people cannot be allowed to think for themselves, and that they should never have to feel pain, well, unless you interfere with his plan. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!! (OC x Ren Amamiya) For as long she can remember, she lost her parents at a very young age and was raised and adopted by a Chinese-English speaking family that resides in Yongen Jaya along with her stepsister. She had learned how to speak Chinese and has managed really well in Kosei High thanks to her family until she was told that she had to transfer out of Kosei due to unknown reasons. Everyone around her in her current school were wary of her and she almost felt she didn't fit in until she met someone. Context: This is a rewritten fanfiction that was made back in 2019/2020(?). I wanted to restart because I didn't like how the story was going. This would include a lot of special things including spoilers and custom plots which is 100% original. His plot for revenge had shaped him into a weapon, designed to murder countless lives for the sake of his own retribution. I got him through that, and with some patience, we discovered a relationship that fell beyond the boundaries of friends. But it didn't last forever. His last words to me were his refusal to watch me serve jailtime for the crimes he commited at the Phantom Thieves expense. Before I could argue, he left, allowing Sae Niijima to take him in. But now, all of a sudden, my days change. Akechi and I both have a choice, one that will shape our future forever. The question is...what do we really want? Justice, or freedom?
