I started this because I have become so sick and tired of the Elephant and Ass squad using people's ignorance of history and political philosophy against them. This came to a head after being forced to watch some Prager U bs on youtube, about how socialism was evil and blah blah, Jesus; blah blah god; blah blah evil Soviet Demons! BE AFRAID! BE AFRAID!
It was 5 minutes of my life that I will never get back, and don't get me wrong Soviet Socialism was an authoritarian shit storm, but that is not what the Social Democrats like Sanders, Warren, and Ocasio-Cortez want. I am writing this so those of you brave enough to reevaluate your beliefs with the introduction of more scientifically and historically accurate data. All I ask is an open mind. If you are my friend you know that my dedication to finding the truth, workable compromises, and my ability to admit when I am wrong and reevaluate my beliefs based on new data. I am not trying to lead you astray or cause any more division in the country. I am trying to identify the source of our current problems and solutions to them.
