This story focuses on a man called Grime that is at the end of his 254 year old life. Because of his job he had developed Leukemia but thanks to science he was able to live this long. As he's looking back into his life and the lessons he learnt he scorns and despises not being able to finish his main experiment. To achieve maximum awareness and manipulation of all that is him and surrounds him. As he dies he feels like he's being pulled violently somewhere and gets sucked into an extremely bright light and is reborn as himself in the past. A new life? I decided to follow him one night and what I found should have made me hate him but I felt like I could understand him...I wanted to talk to him and be his friend. Now that I think about it, it probably wasn't the best of ideas but I don't regret it for one minute.

That night Ivy died and what was reborn is something dark and dangerous. He was right, I am a soulless monster. I have no remorse for the blood I shed. Not when it gets me closer to having my revenge.
