Hatred stirs between these races, they keep within their kingdom's borders and bundle up tight when venturing into the other kingdoms. But the hatred between the individual races was nothing compared to what the High King of Sanaroth- the neighboring country- feels to the magical inhabitants of Illisium.
He has designed a weapon... something that will erase magic from the world forever.

The Emerald Heart has been sought after for hundreds of years. Its mysterious power is said to hold the key to life; but all it's brought is death. The home of the elves and dragons was destroyed, the elves in hiding. Aavel has spent years of her life hiding. But one day, she's discovered, finding herself then on the run. Now, the king of the kingdom of Yuldin hunts after her, believing her to be his chance at finishing the kings' legacy; finding the Emerald Heart. The quest for the Emerald Heart brings unexpected friendships and adventures.... ... An original story that has been with me for quite some time. Note: likely has many grammatical errors and typos. Should still be readable though. Why not give it a shot? Thank you! (Will undergoing slow editing and revision.)
