A Feather of Flame

Valora, scarred and injured in an accident as a child believes she's destined to spend the rest of her life alone in her grandmother's dilapidated house. But destiny is a tricky thing and very rarely goes the way people think.

For Valora, her true destiny comes on the wings of dreams that soon tumble into reality . A handyman turns out to be a demon hunter, her boss grows wings and says he's a djinn and they both say they want to protect her. And Valora? She discovers that the aching body she's familiar with carries flames hot enough to melt stone and turn back death itself but her joy and confusion is quickly overshadowed by the need to survive as an ancient tribe of hunters has been called by her light to stamp out the flame she carries once and for all.
