A young boy named Theta who has Leukemia but doesn't understand it nor the effects it has on him. He made up that he has a 'monster' inside him. Theta thought that Leu, his monster or the Leukemia, was going to be his friend originally but once he started taking medicine (chemotherapy) because Leu was making him sick he felt worse and his hair fell out. He believed that Leu was being mean from taking the medicine and made him feel worse and caused his hair loss, but in reality it's just the affects of chemo. He's just is too young to understand or is it that no one as explained it to him to understand?
