Kaila Rogers grew up in a starving world where viruses spread quickly, and thousands are killed daily, whether it be from sickness or murder. Kaila is imprisoned for crime when a scientist comes up with a cure for the A96 virus, the virus responsible for the most of recent deaths. The scientist teams up with the warden of the prison that holds Kaila, and starts injecting the prisoners with the serum.
