Phoenix wasn't meant to have magical abilities, and he most definitely shouldn't have been able to make all the money in the world disappear just by thinking about it. To make matters worse, it came with a minor side effect: a disease called Gold fever. In other words, people started to turn into gold. Over the course of a single day, Phoenix becomes the most hated person in the world. As the economy collapses around them, only three of his friends are willing to stay by his side. Their job is to keep Phoenix alive while he tries to make money reappear and find a cure to Gold fever. Which turns out to be more challenging than they thought, as they find out someone is tailing Phoenix with the intention to kill.

Noah is a closeted gay who has been pressured by his parents to just act 'normal.' Being autistic and having social anxiety makes that difficult. Brad is your average popular guy. Captain of the football team (soccer) and pretty much every sport in existence. Death after death in his family has forced him into drug addiction. But he's fine. Right? Dahlia is your stunning no problem partying alcoholic friend. Keeping her past under wraps is kinda her job. That and making sure her brother doesn't get arrested. Matthew may as well not know what the law is because I'm pretty sure he's broken at least half of the rules in there. Narrowly escaping Juvie several hundred times is the best he can do from his sister Dahlia murdering him. Side characters: Alice is a girl who has to be best at everything. She's the smartest girl in her year, but under the pressure of her family she snaps. Mason is kind of the school oddball. He isn't that smart and he's pretty nosy and weird. He's the kind of that is mainly described as a downright idiot. But he's okay when you get to know him.

my first finished book. I started writing this, when I was in 8th grade, and I ended writing it at freshman year. Warning: most of the book was written, when I was at school, meaning some stuff wasn't really researched (or was it?). And it may or may not have a lot of mistakes. This fanfic is was posted earlier on ao3 (since ao3 is cheaper, you don't have to buy subscriptions + some stuff to read it). This book doesn't have graphic smut, but it does have violence! (and pure murder). Currently, I'm writing my second book, which is mainly focused on what happened when Janna was stuck on Planet Europa 5893x. It has more murder, violence, royal drama, and maybe some romantic relationships (the only non-toxic ship in the first book were two 11 year old boys). When I was writing this book, I thought: "if tweek and craig were two 10 year olds in a healthy mlm relationship, why can't I do the same thing, but with an skateboarding goth 11 year old and a broke trans 11 year old". warning: janna, nate walker, bad (horrible) parenting, crazy oc-lore, murder and violence, toxic relationships, (surprisingly) healthy relationships, mentions of multiple fandoms (as we read the book, since my oc-lore is literally a cross-over between fandoms + my own thing), 🏳️‍🌈people, swearing, mentions of drugs(idk much about them but my oc's a drug dealer-) + many other stuff I should've mentioned, but didn't mention, because I was too lazy-
