The doorbell rang and a customer came in.I started reciting what I was being paid to say.
"Welcome to Café Latte!What would yo-
He was beautiful.He had a pair of most exotic,lush green,plush pink lips and a chiseled face.
Mmmm!Deli-
"So,would you like a signed one or a framed one?",he asked.
"Huh!What?",came my oh-so-intelligent response.
"My picture?You were staring for quite a while.Thought I would do the honours myself!"
"U-u-um....",I stuttered,thinking of a witty come-back.
It would be nice to say that luck was not on my side.Stupid Me!
"I'd like an iced white chocolate Mocha with extra whipped cream.Oh!And write the name Jake on it."Hmm,Jake.An unusual order for a Jake but who am I to judge?
I whipped up his concoction and handed it to him.As he was leaving,"Hey,Jake.",I called out his name.
He turned back with a questioning glance and his foam-covered lips extended into an amused smile when I said,"I'd like the signed one,if you don't mind."

Meet Jake Daniels.
