Shy, sweet, nerdy, and nearly invisible social outcast Katarina Castillejo has a secret; she can seriously rock. But with her parents being against her doing anything besides doing school work and being a lawyer when she finishes school, she has to smother her love and talent when it comes to rock, so no one knows. No one, until her secret slips while in the car of the drummer of a local, very popular rock band “Pieces Of The Game”. When he and his boys accept the skillful bass player and singer who they dub “Kitty-Kat” she is taken in a whirlwind of double identities, new friends, and the threat of being caught and disowned by her family, the only real thing she has left. With the help of her new friends, her epic yet kooky grandmother, and her helpful calculus teacher, will she follow her dreams? Or will they crash and burn if she gets caught?
