Katie Oswell always knew that her grandmother wasn't insane, even after she tried to kill her when she was five years old. Something about the elderly woman just didn't add up, and she was determined to discover what. Interning at the asylum her grandmother is being kept at, she poses as a doctor and tries to talk to her. Things take a turn for the worse when she discovers that the 'aliens in the desert' her grandmother is hallucinating about aren't really hallucinations, and that they have the power to control humans with their minds and want to invade planet Earth.
