This is a short story based upon a poem, whose author I am unsure of. The poem goes:
"And so life asked death,
'Death, why do people love me, but hate you?'
And death responded
'Because you are a beautiful lie,
And I am a painful truth.'"

My life is a series of thresholds that I overcome through poetry. UPDATE: It's been quite a few years since I started this book, and it has become rather prolific. I am currently working on organizing my poetry to make it easy to navigate.
