The mayor of SandLock sits at his desk. As he thinks, Isaiah, the mayor's secretary, and sidekick, walks into his office with 16 envelopes in his hand. "Here you go, Sir!" he smiles as he places the neatly arranged envelopes on the mayor's desk, "everything you wanted plus more in a letter! I also added a fresh apple scented wax to close up-" before Isaiah could finish his sentence the mayor cut him off. "I don't need details, Isaiah. Thank you!" "Oh, um. . . sorry, sir. My apologies." the mayor smiled at his secretary. Silence fills the room as Isaiah thinks of something to say. "Would you need help delivering these letters?" Isaiah begins, "I know where the guest lives." "That would be wonderful, Isaiah! That gives me time to talk to the boy!" "Oh! I forgot about him! Where is he anyway?" Isaiah smiled and looked around. "He is in the back. I made sure it would be a while before he woke up," the mayor explained. "I got you!" Isaiah picked up the envelopes and headed towards the door. "I best be going." The mayor smiled as Isaiah was about to leave. "Oh, I almost forgot. Gretel told me her and the others are almost done setting up for the "Party"." "Excellent! I'm thankful to have you guys as a team!" the mayor announced. "We are thankful too!" Isaiah exclaimed. He twisted the doorknob and left his bosses office. The mayor laughed slightly as he got up from his chair and walked over to the door leading to the back. He opened it and found Kyle laying on the ground. "Thank you for volunteering, Kyle! We really needed it!" His deep voice said menacingly with a smile.

"Are you old enough to be here?" The 18-year-old asked, and Hailey laughed. "Yeah. Of course, look can we just have two light beers?" Hailey asked looking at the desserts. "Well, I'm supposed to id, but I don't get paid enough for this." He rolls his eyes sliding the beers over. "Enjoy!" He groans cleaning off the counter and assisting the next customer. We walk over to a small booth and sit down. Hailey slides the beers over to me and I open one. I start to lift it and then set it back on the table. "Um... Hailey are we old enough for this?" she nods so I take a sip. It was disgusting but I felt like I should drink more so I drank the rest. Hailey had already gone to order more, and I stumbled towards her. A man grabbed me dragging me towards the back door and Hailey ran over trying to grab me. She screamed trying to get people to help but they were all distracted. The man stuck something in my arm and threw me in a van. He shut the door and Hailey ran inside to call the police. Someone covered my head with a bag, and I felt a sharp pain in my neck and then I blacked out. After that day, my life was changed forever... Click to find out more.
