But Gotham did never worship those who attempted to break out of its system so Jay had to adapt to the formidable rules of the city for achieving his goals. Inevitably, everything became chaos when fate punished him for his stubbornness and his idealistic aspirations. All it took was one bad day. (Pre TDK)
Book 2. To be flooded by ordinariness and drown in the mediocrity of Gotham City has always been Saffron Corteccia's nightmare of a life since her childhood. When she finds herself writing articles about Gotham City Metro' s new seat foam plastic for the least sophisticated tabloid in the entire city, even though the town is brimming over with criminal affairs, she is even a bit thankful to be pulled out of her dreadful boredom by the ultimate criminal mastermind the Joker. The Gotham Queen
This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. I do not own any of these characters or the various original stories!! I just made my own remake of it. All rights go to the DC Universe and the creators of these awesome people. Thank you for trying out this story. I'm sorry if the parts that are from Joker's POV are terrible, but I tried to get as close to his twisted personality as possible. It isn't exactly easy to predict what the most unpredictable character ever made would say and do. I mostly went off of the movie scenes for his character. Please be nice to each other, and no rude comments. I may have a few spelling errors, so if you let me know, I will try to get to them. Gotham City at night was a cesspool of crime, drugs, murder and all-around bad guys. The Joker and Harley Quinn are two of the quote and unquote bad guys by the GCPD and Batsy!....But to me, they are my dear old Daddy and Momma! Call him psychotic and cruel if ya want, but to me and my mom, he's sweet as coconut cream bomb pie! My crazy momma and daddy were locked up by Batsy when I was ten years old. The stupid good guys didn't think the Clown King and Queen of Gotham had a little Clown Princess named Y/n Quinn or on the streets of Gotham with Aunt Poison Ivy: Jester. On and off again, my parents broke out of jail and returned home til I left home and my mom was sent to Belle Reve. I made a name for myself in the dark underground of Gotham at the age of eighteen making my parents proud of their psychotic little girl, all the scum and villains knew who I was then one day lead to me being caught by Batsy and his little bat family then shipped off to Arkham Asylum Prison where I'd find him! My own Harlequin! HAHAHAHA!! What if Joker had a daughter? One raised by Gotham... She was abandoned. She's angry. She want's revenge. She hates her father... But does this mean she works with the side of the Angels? Well, let's just say, there's a reason her name is Sanity. --Note-- This story is going to be re-written eventually, while this story will be up until the other version is finished (I won't be publishing it until then) this story will be deleted once that is done. There will be notice for that, so you know what is happening, but chances are you may need to re-read the book a second time following this. Especially, since I plan on actually having a sequel to this one complete eventually. --As a side note-- Only 5 characters are my own: Sanity, Ryu, Avalon, Jeremiah, Genevieve. All other characters belong to DC, I cannot stress that enough. In addition to this I have also used actual quotes from the Original Comics for the characters that have said them, as well as used some of the same origins/storylines to give the other characters (DC's) more of an identity e.g. 'Death in the Family' storyline// Where Joker kills Jason...
