Separated: A Bakugan Fanfiction

Way before he met his bakugan partner Drago, 6 year old Daniel "Dan" Kuso lived a seemingly ordinary life. He had a normal family, education, and friends. Well... until that day. One night when no one was around, he met a mysterious boy at the park water fountain. It turned out that he was a prince from another planet! They quickly became best friends and exchanged a special friendship necklace so that can always remember each other. 5 years passed and Dan and the boy were still together. They kept their friendship and meet ups a secret from everyone and never took off their necklaces. It was then that the alien boy declared to Dan that he will step down from being the next emperor of his home planet. The alien boy had never experienced such warmth in his life and desired to stay with Dan, who he began to have a crush on. At the same time, Dan felt the same way toward the boy. The next night, Dan went to the fountain to meet up with the boy. However, all Dan met up with was a mad and old-looking man, a splitting headache, and amnesia.

Another 5 years passed and 16 year old Dan Kuso now fought alongside his friends Murucho, Shun, Jake, and the Neathian princess Fabia to save Neathia from the Gundalian empire. Dan kept his friendship necklace in hopes that one day he can reunite with his lost friend who he now had no knowledge on his identity. During one of the battles, Dan bumps into Emperor Barodius (without his partner Dharak). During this meeting, Dan spots a peculiar necklace around the emperor's neck. One that he hasn't seen in five years. Who is responsible for Dan and his lost friend's separation and why did he or she do it?
