What would've happened if the Jade Winglet never got wrapped up with Darkstalker? If Sora had never tried to kill Icicle? If Winter had never gone looking for Hailstorm with his friends? What if they never got involved in the perils and dangers they faced in the WoF series, and instead the worst things they have to worry about are assignments, drama, and bullies? At least for most of them...
Winter is an IceWing as harsh and narcissistic as they come, desperately trying to live up to his parents' expectations. Moonwatcher is a shy, scroll-loving NightWing who hates unfamiliar places.
When these two dragons' worlds collide at Jade Mountain Academy, their initial hatred for one another soon blossoms into something more, something neither of them has ever experienced before. At first, things go well for both of them at the academy. However, they quickly learn that the world here can still be as unforgiving as it is outside of school. And when students start going missing, it becomes clear that there's something sinister going on... Together, along with five other friends, can they survive mountains of schoolwork, bullies, and drama that neither of them wanted to get involved in to begin with? Find out by reading Ice at Midnight: A Winterwatcher Fanfic!
*Note: I DID NOT MAKE THIS COVER. Carni_Crimson did, huge shout-out for her art skills! If you ever need a cover with dragons on it, she's your go-to.*

⚠️Potential spoilers for the Wings of Fire series! It is recommended to read Wings of Fire books 1-10 and Wings of Fire: Beyond the Horizon before reading this story. Beyond the Horizon can be found at the bottom of this story's description, or in my reading list, "Legends of the Moonmaiden's Chosen." Trigger warnings for the following types of content: Cults, Death, Violence, Blood/Gore, Murder, Religious Belief, Hatred, Romance, and more. NOTE: This story is discontinued, meaning it will not receive any more chapters. Due to the amount of new important characters and elements being introduced to this story's prequel, connecting the dots with that story and this one will either require a ton of work or make little to no sense. This story will be rewritten once Beyond the Horizon is finished. An IceWing with too much frost, and a SkyWing with too much fire. They live lonely lives, becoming outcasts in their own tribe, avoided and despised by most. Until one day, the two dragons collide, their lives changing forever. What happens when frost and fire meet? This story is told in the first person point of view, alternating between characters every chapter. Chapters will be released six at a time once they are ready. This story will be #2 in the "Legends of the Moonmaiden's Chosen" series. Reading Beyond the Horizon first is not required to understand the backstory of Primrose and the Moonmaiden, but it is highly recommended. 'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters from the best book series in the world, they are the characters of the great and magnificent Tui T. Sutherland. The only characters I own are my OCs. P.S I give full credit to my awesome fanfiction writer friend for coming up with this fanfiction and credit to Book-dragon-Wof who helped with ideas.

Imagine reading your favorite book series when you're suddenly transported into it. That's what happend to Daniel Lorence when he is transported into the fictional world of Pyrrhia. With the knowledge of reading all fifteen books he knows everything about everyone, however when an unforseen prophecy comes into play -one that never made an appearance in the books- Daniel will have to go on a perilous journey if he ever wishes to escape alive. All while he tries to keep his true identity a secret from his new friends. But when somone starts to pull the strings on his mind as well as the minds of the dragons around him, he finds himself risking it all to save a world he's not even supposed to exist in. As well as having to make the choice.. If living life as dragon... Is worth leaving his human life behind. ---------------------------- Hello fellow WoF readers this is only my second story and my first based on WoF so expect errors. I accept any ideas and Constructive criticism (don't be too harsh please) so come along for the ride. NOTE: This takes place in a timeline where a school year has already passed without the whole Darkstalker drama. Everything else happend including Carnelians death and the whole Icicle being dream visited by scarlet which means scarlet is dead. Also the JW don't know about moons powers. (Peril knows about Turtle being an animus) In other words it's close to Canon but not quite. Also warning that this book contains some cussing every now and then, currently working on getting rid of it. Thanks to @StormingFire555 for the cover design.

If you're reading this from teenfic.net, we urge you to exit right now and find this story on wattpad, where it was originally posted, as teenfic contains malware and viruses and can harm your device! As an egg, Autumn was cursed. Every three months she must kill the dragon assigned to her by her uncle, or she will die. But two months before she has to kill again, she meets Hopeseeker, a funny, excitable, slightly crazy male Nightwing who means everything to her. They begin to meet in the stolen moments before dawn. But when their secret meetings are discovered, Autumn and her uncle move to the knotted canyon, a canyon so windy it basically goes around in circles. Autumn misses Hopeseeker so much, she decides to run away. When Autumn arrives at the Nightwing home, she is devastated to find that Hopeseeker vanished a week ago, disappearing without a trace. Autumn decides to find Hopeseeker, and his friends and sister, Eclipse join Autumn on her quest to find him. But the time where Autumn must kill again is drawing closer with each passing day. Will she have to kill one of her new friends? Or will she let herself perish? _____________________________________________________________________ The wings of fire series does not belong to me, so credit for the title and inspiration goes to Tui T. Sutherland! Thank you so much for your books, they really inspire me. Also, cover art is not by me! (Done by unknown artist, sorry. I will try to find out who did it though!) This is a temporary cover. At the moment @PigeonTheCat is drawing a new cover. Make sure to follow them!

[COVER BY @cosmic_hoodie!] Emerald Academy is the sister academy of Jade Mountain Academy. It is run by Moon, Qibli, Winter, Kinkajou, and Turtle. Please read books 1-10 before this. Contains some spoilers for Legends: Darkstalker. If you are wondering, the events of books 11-14 do not happen in this reality. Also most of these characters are mine but all the others are Tui T. Sutherland's. This book is after all the Darkstalker and all that stuff. 🛑Important Fact🛑: I do NOT own Wings of Fire.
