Seven years of friendship. He was like her "little brother." She was the only girl he ever truly loved. From the moment they met, Lizzy and Shawn were inseparable. But one day, they are suddenly separated when Lizzy has to leave for college. Assuming he would never see her again, Shawn runs into her at a bar where he worked part-time nearly three years later. They rekindle their friendship for only one night. However, fate seems to have other plans for them when Shawn gets the opportunity of a lifetime, separating them once again. Fast forward to three years later, Shawn is a mega-famous pop star and Lizzy is a jaded intern working for a magazine. They "reunite" once again when Lizzy attends one of his shows with her friend. Soon, Lizzy comes to realize that the young man in front of her at that moment was no longer the little boy she used to know. And, after waiting for a long time, Shawn decides that it was time to declare his feelings for her. At first, Lizzy is caught off guard, seeing Shawn only as a "little brother." But Shawn is persistent, adamant on proving to Lizzy that he was serious and no longer a little boy. Despite her reservations about their five year age gap, Lizzy finds herself conflicted about her own feelings and opening up her heart again after her last relationship had ended in betrayal and heartbreak. The question that remains is: Were Lizzy and Shawn always meant to be "just friends" or will they risk everything on love?
