Acts of Defiance

Dear whoever finds this letter,

My name is Everly Summers. If you found this paper, it means I'm long gone. I won't tell you where I'm heading btw, not like I have a clue to where this road leads me. But it's no longer an option to stay at the foster care facility and not just because it's currently burning in flames. It isn't safe, or should I say wasn't safe, and it wasn't suitable for young children like my sister or teenage girls like me to stay at. At least, not when the adults were turning a blind eye to the vicious wolves snatching and picking out us kids like people pick out a dog at the shelter. I am not a pet, nor a slave, and will not be treated as such and neither will my sister.

Me leaving isn't a goodbye forever, I will be back. I will save each and every one of those unfortunate kids locked in cells and being sold.

I will go to every pack, as the wolves call it, destroy them, and get the girls and boys who were already bought as well.

I will do what you adults are too much of a coward to do, stand up to those vile wolves and fight the best a human teenager can.

It's better than doing nothing.
