Alexa, a runt. A disgrace to the entire werewolf community. An abomination. Alexa was different everybody knew that. But in what way was Alexa Xander different?

"Forgive me if I act like I don't need anybody, remember, I survived for months on my own unfortunately as a human, fighting of hunters and vampires. Wait, scratch that, I don't need anybody, and yes I do have a pack behind me that is there for me and I value them but do not, think, for even a moment I am weak without people to back me up."

She turned to the crowd of people that had gathered, but focused on Melissa who was in the midst of them, " And "Blood is thicker than water"; Isn't that what you said Greyhound, keep this in mind then, " The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb."

And with that, she turned on her heels and walked away.
