Gabriel Bryant is more than aware that spending the summer with his grandparents at their horse ranch is as cliche as it gets. But, since his parents are leaving for a two month anniversary trip, he has no choice. 

So, he's laid a few ground rules out. Number one: no horseback riding. Under no circumstances will he sit atop one of those four legged beasts. Number two: no friends. He doesn't want to miss anything here. Or anyone  He just wants to wallow in his self-pity and play video games. And number three: no dating. 

Seems easy enough. Get in, get out. No strings attached. 

Rylie knows this summer is going to suck. Not only is she going to have a load of school work to do before college, but she's also having to babysit the Peterson's grandson. 

Of course, she can't escape him like a normal ranch hand could. She lives with his grandparents. They are her legal guardians after all. But what if he turns out to be like Connor? What if her past comes out from the shadows she's tried so desperately to keep it in? No. No one knows about that. She will be fine.

Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not. I hope you try to read it and see that it's really good, and touching sorta. So just try to love it.*
