There was a war between the Earth dwellers and the gods, it ended badly for us Earth dwellers. But the gods had a change of heart, giving us another chance to live. Every species of creature have been returned to their former glory. Well, most of them. The Elves, Dwarves, Shifters, and a few others got it harder than most. But we led the rebellion, the Earth Walkers, I mean, we got dealt the worst hand. In the past our ancestors were called "humans", though things have changed, drastically. We're slowly gaining the gods favor again, they've gifted most of us with abilities and a companion, called a kindred beast. It's granted to us on our 17th Althala Day.
