I left my mother, the Moon goddess Diane, at a young age. I remember running as fast as my paws could carry me, my eyes wide with fear. I could feel my sibling's breath on my heels.
I spotted a large bramblebush and dove in, not caring about the thorns tearing my skin and ripping out my fur. I heard them searching, and finally, leaving. I sighed, even though I knew this would happen at some point. I just didn't know it would happen so soon.
I thought back on my previous life. Being created by the blood of millions of animals. My mother trying to kill my favorite sister, and my father, Satan, taking Tainga to Hell with him. I sighed again. I missed her. I wonder briefly where she is. Then, training with my inner demon, Raven. Me selecting my form as a lynx. Tears welled up in my eyes, wishing it could all go away. Raven tries to comfort me. "Its okay Pepper, you will be okay." I nodded, not believing any of her words.
I lay down, resting my head on my paws. I'll be fine.

This is from the point of veiw of Pepper, the sister of the main character in "A Daika's life" by my good friend Tainga, so make sure to read that first. Or not, I just think you might understand more. But do what you want, its a free country.
