They say the best moments in life are concluded by the little things. The small glimmers of hope that overtake all the bad things, and make living just a bit more bearable. And for Esmeralda Gillis, her small moments came into play, as soon as John Marston entered her life.
A broken soul tarnished by the cruel world, that was only held together by a small bunch of desperados on the run. But in comes Esmeralda, prancing into his life like she owned the damn world, and picked up the pieces of life he long forgot about, and brought him back together. She formed his heart, and made it beat erratically in his chest. Oh how she knew how to play him, always leaving him wanting more, but was left with nothing.
She used him, as he would always deduce, so he decided to use her in return. But John didn't know that actions, caused even bigger reactions. And her reaction, was one he would never forget.

This is a Red Dead Redemption 2 Fan-fic. Arthur Morgan x Female Y/n (Reader) Life is pretty simple as a rich woman. No, let me try that again. Life is pretty simple as woman married to a rich man. Stay silent unless spoken too, dress with only the latest fashion, don't do anything unlady-like, and remain faithful to your husband. No matter what. Heaven forbid a happily married, high society woman of any respectability be found going against any of these rules. Good thing then, you are not a happily married woman; and when a group of outlaws makes a sudden appearance in your dreary city of Saint Denis, you happily break every single rule in the book. This story will not follow strictly along the lines of Red Dead Redemption 2 but I will do my best to do every character the justice they deserve. When Arthur Morgan was in his twenties he discovered he had a younger sister. Lyle Morgan had an affair with a prostitute and had a daughter named Macy Morgan. He wanted nothing to do with them and kept them both locked away in a cabin off in the freezing, bitter Grizzlies; he'd visit once or twice and then disappear for good. Word got around that Lyle was hanged which lead to Macy's mother leaving to seek out answers but never returned. Macy being only 8 had to fend for herself and gets caught one day trying to pickpocket Dutch Van der Linde and Hosea Matthews; there the two men bring Macy back to camp and Arthur is reunited with his little sister. Flash forward 11 years later and an almost 20 year old Macy Morgan was trying to come to terms that a certain outlaw has caught her eye; bad thing is he's her brothers best friend and the father of her best friends son. This is Macy Morgan and John Marstons love story but through all the blood, tears and betrayal can their love last?

Now a broken man, he begins work as a ranch hand for the MacFarlanes while keeping his head down and plotting how to find and rescue Jack.
