The sequel to The Witch of Camelot, Nimue's sacrifice to give up her own life and portray herself as her deceased uncle, Merlin Ambrosias, turns out to be far more difficult than she anticipated. She finds herself battling against the hatred of the Lady Igraine as she and Arthur, now king of Camelot, attempt to rebuild the city from the ground up after the destruction brought upon it by the evil witch Morgause aided by her half-sister Morgana. The twists and turns of court life take their toll but will Nimue admit defeat and give up the man she loves?
