He didn't want the one person in the world that is suppose to love me no matter what didn't even want me. Fine if no one wanted me around then i'll do them all a favor and leave. They won't ever have to worry about me bothering them with my face ever again. Makenzie wasn't your normal female wolf. She was a bit overweight. Every day of her Jr. high/high school life she has been make fun of, pushed around, and talked about. Even her brother Derrek joined in. The five kingdoms have been fighting and killing each other for centuries, and no one knows the exact reason; it still remains a mystery. Despite the wars happening, there is a prodigious academy in the middle of the planet. None of the kingdoms own this place. No matter which kingdom you are from, you can enter this academy as long as you are strong and powerful enough to pass its entrance exam. An exam that sheds blood. This magnificent academy was made to train intelligent and skilled students. This is not just an ordinary school. This is definitely not a fun place. Because this is "Zeus de Academy". - Kyla, a teenage girl, is one of those people who wants to enter this academy. She came from a small village that was destroyed by a single assassin sent by another kingdom. She believed that entering this academy would help her develop into a formidable fighter in the future, one who could help others and, most importantly, take down the assassin who had destroyed her home and killed her loved ones. Desdemona ''Des'' Winchester wants nothing to do with Melliford Academy. In fact, she's pretty sure her parents shipped her off to boarding school just to get her out of their hair. It's a move they'll come to regret if she has any say in the matter. Nothing humiliates posh folk like having a daughter sent home from the country's most esteemed educational institution. Just flunking class isn't dramatic enough, though. Des plans to get booted in the most spectacular manner possible, just to make sure her parents' social circle will never let them live it down. Her scheming, unfortunately, encounters three roadblocks within the first week of class. The first: Exie Quinnell, teacher's pet, whip-smart, and unreasonably attractive. Neither girl intended to end up on a project together, but their teacher deemed Des in need of a little... remediation. The second: There are things about Melliford Academy that none of the teachers will talk about, even when pressed. Things that should be easy answers.
