On her first mission, she comes across a crime syndicate who stole a priceless Dwemer mask. Aisha will travel all across Skyrim, gain new powers, and discover the true power of the Dwemer mask, and herself. This is my first completed fanfiction, and I encourage critical comments on prose, plot, and pacing. I tried to stick to the lore as best I could, and everything should (mostly) transition to the main plot of the game. I will not die fighting side by side with dwarves." Halidien growled, she would not run from a fight but walking to her death was not something she would do either. And what did she owe to the dwarves, to be running into a mountain with a dragon? "I wish you would have agreed. Halidien, you will go." Mithrandir insisted. "And why would I do that? The dwarves can handle their own problems." "You owe me, and once this quest is over that oath will be fulfilled." He explained, causing Halidien to pale. Hundreds of years ago, Mithrandir had saved her life and she had made an oath to him to help whenever he may need. But the idea of him forcing her to fulfill the oath for this, seemed ridiculous to her. A/N I do not own any character other than Halidien and maybe more if I choose to add more. The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand.
