Sebastian saw the news in the paper, and is terrified. Sebastian has buried his past so deep down, and he's afraid to remember it. He hasn't told anyone about his past. Not even his wife and kids. He's afraid to testify not only because he'll have to see Marcus, but because of what people might think of him. Will people call him weak and damaged? Dirty and used? Pathetic and disgusting? Will his family judge him? Or worse, pity him? Decective Stark is on the case of looking for living victims of Garavito. Sebastian tells Stark his story, but Stark still needs him to testify. Sebastian doesn't think he can or should do it because that is apart of his life he doesn't want to relive again and he doesn't want his family to know. Marcus says in court that he is a changed man for the better and apologizes, but is he really a changed man?
