Leoni Rosewood's life is tipped upside down the day that Wall Maria is breached. Escaping alongside her cousin and two newly made friends, Leoni has no clue to what the fates of her family members left in Shiganshina are.
Accompanied and guided by a single book that she was given when she was five, Leoni decides that it is her turn to defend the walls. Choosing to follow the path all her closest family members have taken, Leoni joins the 104th Trainees Sqaud in the Military in hope to take back Wall Maria and to return to the place that she once called home, eliminating any titan that will intervene in her doing so.

This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old. Then I will go into a time skip after developing the relationship between the reader and Levi as he helps the reader through their depression, I just wanted to get some background into the story first since it's important to how the reader ends up meeting Levi. Another thing I wanted to point out is that I know that the scouts didn't live in the abandoned castle until after they got Eren in the Survey Corps however I set the story there the majority of the time since I have no clue where they lived before and this is my story so I'll do what I want XD. I'm going to write for a female reader since it should be easier for me to write for this story that way, but I plan on doing more gender neutral stories in the future if this goes over well. This will only be rated 18+ near the end (Like literally only in the last chapter) as I mostly want to focus on the relationship the reader forms with Levi and I don't want my first story to be pure smut.
