Marinette is the princess of China. She has a mutant bodyguard, a human bodyguard and her lady in waiting with her everywhere she goes. Her mutant bodyguard is Adrien Agreste, human bodyguard is Nino & her lady in waiting is Alya Cesàre(spelling?).

They were sent to Paris because there was an attempt on the princesses life.
