come closer, my dear; the horizon is still waiting

It's been years since Mischa "Mischamo" Kusneztov started doing Youtube in 2011. Longer, still, since the last time she stepped foot in her grandfather's old cottage out the middle of God Knows Where, Massachusetts. But when her supposed best friend - and one of the members of their joint Youtube channel, Toaster Queens - sleeps with her boyfriend, it's the only place she knows how to escape to.

Cody begins uploading again, sometimes solo, sometimes with the minimal friends she's kept since everything *she* did. But one night of streaming leads to a fateful encounter with a group of fellow Youtubers, leaving her happier than she's been in those horrible six months since it all happened.

However, when one of her new found friends reveals his need to run away from everything, Cody speaks before thinking and offers to let him come stay with her.

Now, in close quarters with the sweet and quiet man, Cody can't help but wonder if this going to end horribly

She can't quite bring herself to care, however - not when he smiles at her like that.
