Twelve years after escaping the infection, Ellis, Nick, and Trinity have wound up in a small community that's free from infection, leaving the three to settle down at last.

All of their lives have finally pieced together, Nick and Ellis having tied the knot and started a family, and Trinity having a child of her own, everything seems to be going as planned finally. They've finally achieved peace in this doomed world.
