Sin Kurogane is a First year High-schooler who lives in a small city in Japan. He lived a very quiet and introverted life until his town was ravaged by a Devourer, a beast that started invading Earth 4 years ago has arrived at his town. His family, friends, and most of everyone he knew has been killed. Overcome with grief, he decided that he wants to join them in death. Though he can't bring himself to commit suicide. An organization called Sign specializes in defending Earth from the Devourers by creating super humans and Robots to fight against them. A gene is currently being tested on people, but the survival rate of it being infused with a human is extremely low. Sin figures that if he should die it should be at the hands of those who failed to defend his city. Or so he thought.
