On the small island Valentine, everyone is a couple. No one is single, except for Elena Gardener. She is the only single person on the entire island. That is until one year, during the annual Valentine Festival, Michael Proctor misses the only boat home as he is separated from his girlfriend. Elena finds hope in that she may have finally found her soul mate, however she was not expecting him to be a bad boy with a bad attitude. As Michael waits for the next boat to come in the next year, he gets closer to Elena and the two begin a new friendship, that could turn into something more. But what happens when the next festival comes in town and annual boat to the mainland comes around. Will Michael return home to his girlfriend or will he choose to stay with Elena on Valentine Island?
