If Izuku was given the option to change one thing in his life, it would be his curse. In society, his curse is praised; honored for all its goodness and glory. But Izuku wants nothing to do with it. After all, his curse killed his father. Forced him to push all of his friends away and leave himself with nothing.
But that's fine. As long as no one else knows, he'll be fine. Even if it slowly tears him apart from the inside until there is nothing left, nothing and no one can persuade him otherwise.
Not even his drive to be a hero.

Needless to say that he was devoted to be the best villain they ever have seen after what they did to him.
