I looked out the window, rays of the sun almost blinding. I loved Summer. It was my favourite season of the year. Everything was so bright and beautiful. The trees swayed slightly with the light morning breeze. This sight was something I couldn't have even imagined 5 years ago. It would have been the most unrealistic thing I would have wished to see, but now, it was all in front of me.
"Mummy?" A hand tugged on my top.
I snapped out of my daydream.
"Yes, honey?"
"I think we're meant to get off now."

All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. „The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. My heart was pounding, fear taking over my body, I stood up. I was in some sort of room - I think it was a room, if it was a room it was a small room, a very small room. then suddenly the room started to elevate. I fell to my knees, the room was going up so fast, I couldn't get back onto my feet. Where was I going? Was I gonna die? Then it hit me. I don't even know anything about myself, all I know is my name. Ellie. My name is Ellie. But what did I look like? Who are my parents? do I have any siblings? Questions started to fill my mind but then, the room came to a sudden stop. I was sweating. A light turned green and buzzed. '"What are you doing here?!" I scolded. "What are you doing here?!" Hunter said. "You didn't answer my question!" I said to him. He looked at me and I knew what was coming next. He suddenly turned from furious to comforting. "What's is this place?" He whispered and opened his arms. I examined him cautiously before breaking and running into his arms. I cried against his strong build. He stroked my hair and whispered repetitively, "Its ok. I'm here now. Don't worry. I'm all yours."' Everyone has to start somewhere. My life started without a dad. People change their minds and people make mistakes. My mom did just that when she left me at four years old with my Great Aunt Lorie. I know where my mom lives, but I wish I didn't. Don't get me wrong, I still love her to death, but sometimes...forgiveness...is hard to give out...to everyone. 'I jumped over the river that I had never crossed before. I heard my mom calling my name behind me, but I ignored her. Tears streamed down my face. Now, on the other side of the river, I was in a forest, jumping over logs and fallen tree trunks, pushing leaves out of my face. I stopped when I finally felt fully isolated.
