I never knew what love really meant.
Why do people fall in love? It's such a waste of time.
How do people love one another without getting to annoyed or bored with each other?
Why do people love?
What's the motivation to seek for it?
When is the right time to look?
How does love work?
What if I did fall in love?
What going to happen to me?
I guess I'll never know...
unless I actually fall in love.

I asked myself with these questions everyday for the past couple years while I'm in High School. I'm still pretty young, but life doesn't stop. Love keeps going and you can't do anything about it unless you're chasing it.
What so cool about falling in love with a person?
Yeah, there's pros and cons to dealing with Love, and I'm not saying that it's a bad thing, but just think about Why we love?
The way I see it is that you can't be yourself because you're continuously pretending to be someone you're not to impress someone that's probably not worth your time.
You focus all your attention on that person. You try to impress him, and get his attention for what? For happiness?
Can you be happy?
You get so rounded up on that person that you don't maintain your other priorities. Like friends, family, even school.
So what's it all gonna cost you?
You break up?
Because you're bored with each other. Or he's too clingy, or your too clingy?
So I 'm never really going to know...
But I know one thing:
I'm never going to fall in love.

Life is too short to be anything but ordinary. That being said, I learned how to play the guitar one day and wrote songs about love. My guitar skills maybe limited but I had so much fond memories that the callous on my fingers made a good souvenir on that musical stage in my life. As the years passed, I began taking interest in art; painting in particular. Airie is loved and cherished by Nathaniel, who is every girl's Mr. McDreamy. The couple is what the millenials would term today as #relationshipgoals. One day, her world turned upside down upon meeting the not-so-stranger-after-all Kevin, who happens to be every girl's Mr. McSteamy. Airie makes a mistake and crosses the line. Is love really enough to make a relationship work? Does being with someone for a long time guarantee a lifetime together? "I think I'm gay." I say, leaving out the part about my... exposing dream about him last night. I watched his expression, waiting for some sign that he was angry. I waited for him to call me a faggot, to curse me off and tell me he never wanted to see me again. Instead, I was greeted with his perfect toothy smile. "That's great man, I'm of proud you." He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out.
