Ashley has had a hard life when her parents were killed in a tragic accident and is forced into foster care with her twin sister Casey. 
One day when Ashley arrives home from school, she finds a note saying; 'We're at the hospital. Casey has cancer...'
Unfortunately, Casey soon dies which pushes Ashley into deep depression. She is so deep into depression, one day she stands on  the edge of a huge bridge near the highway preparing to jump. As she is about jump off, a car drives past blaring with her favourite song, 
"Think I broke the wings of that Little Song Bird, she's never gonna fly to the top of the world."

And that one song changes her life...
