{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? When a teacher soon discovers Tilda's sensor potential. She sends Tilda to the sensor hq she runs, where Tilda meets fellow sensor James, who along with her long term friend and sensor Jeanie; joins the rebellious organisation, known as the Wish Sensors. They protect and train sensors, ready for the ban when they take back control of the government, that oppresses them. While Tilda and James grow closer, the rebellion grows with propaganda, threats and sabotage; as Tilda must deal with why fate has made her different to the other sensors . The sensor struggle grows more intense to demonstrate what has been kept from the world.
