Dark secrets have a way of finding the plainest people. Jane, who still pretends she's one of the plainest people you can meet, finds herself continuing to make a name for herself amongst criminal syndicates, only now she's not working alone. Following the events of Plain Jane, Jane & Sarah have graduated and are now tackling the challenges of life hand in hand when they aren't acting as the city's friendly neighbourhood vigilantes. However, craving a much-needed vacation, they plan to fulfill Sarah's dream of going to Hawaii like her father always promised and to celebrate the fall of the badland outlaws. However, they can't shake the thought that the fight isn't over and possibly just begun. In a fight for love & survival, Jane and Sarah face their toughest challenge yet. Pushed to their limits and without their usual resources, the two must rely on each other while uncovering the secrets that still exist within the New Era and those who came before it.
