She wanted more, she craved for more. She wanted to explore and experience things what a normal high school teenagers do.
In alterations of Nikki's path, her life can be put in so much trouble that can lead to her mother's disappointment. But that can benefit herself because the more she learn, she explore and experience, the more she get to know herself.
