Dark Mates

Prologue
I awoke silently, when someone opened my door. My hand tightened on the silver knife under my pillow. They crept silently through the room and stopped at the edge of my bed. "Wake up Bree." I relaxed at the voice of my best friend, Samantha, and sat up.
When I saw the hardened look on her face, I regained my stiffened posture. "What's wrong Sam." "It's the Dark Moon Pack." I was already throwing the covers off my body and stripping off my sweatpants before she finished. "They've come... and they're asking for a fight."
