[Hamilton AU]

Alexander Hamilton had a tragic past. His father left, his mother died, and a hurricane killed the rest. He became too scared to get close to anyone again. He managed to get a scholarship to King's College.

John Laurens had a tough life. After coming out as gay to his father and best friend, he was abused at home and bullied at school. He fell into depression, and became too afraid to speak up. Going to King's College was a chance for a new start.

When Alexander and John become room mates,    the two face obstacles both great and small. They face their own problems, their own pasts. They face their fears, and speak up for themselves and others.
