She was the rainy storm. He was the stillness damp soil after.
Hestia Mondragon is used to being seen. The most adored girl in Slytherin- beautiful, clever, untouchable. Every hallway echoes her name. Every glance is a performance for her.
Neville Longbottom has mastered the art of being overlooked. Hidden beneath ink-stained sleeves & soft silences, he lives on the edge of the page- drawing things no one else bothers to see.
They don't belong in the same sentence.
But one rain-drenched afternoon, in a forgotten greenhouse filled with overgrown plants & unsaid things, their worlds brush edges. He keeps drawing. She starts watching.
And something begins to bloom.
Not loudly. Not all at once.
But slowly. Carefully. Quietly.
Because some love doesn't come with fireworks.
It comes like a pencil sketch-faint, deliberate, & impossible to forget once you've seen it.
He draws to remember.
She wonders if anyone will ever draw her the same way.
