He is better now with the help of his best friend Ashton but he still has the bad habit of cutting. When he meets Calum his whole life turns upside down. He both wants to shred his hole body and never cut again at the same time. This boy confuses him like no other but when he wants to keep it a secret he has no choice but to obey. Ashton has had anxiety attacks since the time he was seven when his dad started beating him. Around three years ago someone found out and Ashton was taken away. His best friend Michael and his family took him in. He is now going to college and is hoping to make a new start but his anxiety starts to get the best of him as the stress of college thickens. Maybe his new friend Luke can help him more then Ashton knows. Luke was bullied all his life for being fat. He would come home from school crying into his mother's arms. He became so depressed that he stopped eating all together. One day he looked in the mirror and realized that he was losing weight. He stopped getting bullied but still continued not to eat unable to shake the disease. He soon became hospitalized and started to eat again but after he got rejected by multiple collages his self esteem went down and he stopped eating. After meeting and falling in love a guy named Ashton he quickly realizes that he is more than what those people say. Warning: Strong language Smutt Violence Suicidal content

The small metal contraption on the floor wasn’t usually so terrifying to Ashton. But right now in this moment it was the scariest thing he’d ever seen. He was scared about what number would pop up on the tiny screen when Luke stepped on it. He feels the same fear he felt when he saw Luke on the floor in a puddle of blood and vomit sobbing. It broke his heart to know that the boy he loved was hurting himself this way. Of course Luke didn’t know about Ashton’s feelings, he was too absorbed in his own self-hatred to notice the loving glances Ashton shot his way. Luke hated himself too much to realize how much he was loved.

Ashton is okay right now. He's always like this after a bad bout. He starts off saying that the world is his oyster and he loves everyone, but when the energy and fresh success fades, so does he. Luke knows. He knows about all of Ashton's problems. He knows about the time Ashton was bullied nearly to the brink, the family deaths and friend losses, and the ups and downs, the latter of which seem to be more common lately. It's been so easy lately for Ashton to slip after a joke gone wrong, or a jab on Twitter. Ashton always says he's sorry, repeating it again and again if only to convince himself. Luke knows he's sorry, knows that he can't help it. And he'll sit by the bathtub for hours, holding Ashton, to make sure that he knows someone loves him. None of the other boys know. Ashton couldn't bring himself to tell them and face their disapproving stares too, and he wouldn't let Luke tell them, so he's stuck in this half state of secrecy and confession to Luke. Ashton hasn't gone too far yet, not far enough that Luke can't patch him up with gauze, antibiotics, and a long hug. But someday, someday, Luke knows Ashton won't be able to take it anymore, and Ashton will die. And Luke will be all alone.
