In which two friends that have known eachother since 4th grade never realised they meant so much more to eachother when the time was too late. Jamal Turner needed Alexia Diaz more than he thought he did.
Alexia grows up in a neighborhood within South central of Los Angeles with her twin brother and three friends. While these group of friends go through the coming of age and experiencing pain, triumph and newness. Alexia also learns how she can lean on to her family and friends for guidance as she navigates her life as an adolescence.
