3ZN:Family Ties

The story centres around Pierre Despoux whose dad is the head of a really powerful talent agency with a lot of links to the underworld.
His mom Desirée died from heart failure when he was in prep school and since then his dad Matthieu has been taking care of him .
At high school he ends up being a really popular kid with many guys seeking his affection including Giovanni who leaves a note in his locker but one of his protectors Simeon finds it and beats Giovanni up at the behest of someone possibly Pierre's dad.Pierre is convinced his dad ordered the beat down but his dad denies it.He drops it because his dad is known to be a wee bit temperamental, overprotective and has certain standards he thinks Pierre's future beau must meet and constantly tries to set him up by hosting elaborate parties and inviting Rochester's richest families especially Andre Gutierrez and his family .
Andre Gutierrez's son Fernando is very much interested in Pierre but Pierre is uninterested despite Fernando's constant sending him expensive gifts ,invitations to exclusive events and numerous attempts at asking him out much to the chagrin of Fernando as well as Matthieu who is Pierre's dad and one of his few confidantes.
Pierre relents eventually and goes on a date with Fernando and despite his misgivings enjoys it as he discovers there's more to him than meets the eye
He even allows Fernando to kiss him in front of the doorbell then afterwards bids him adieu and rings the door and is let in by the butler José .
